What it does
Agents can operate it
Everything the dashboard does also works through an MCP server and a REST API, with the same checks and limits. Sending is marked as an action that can't be undone, so agents ask a person before anything goes out.
Pay for sends, not subscribers
Readers who ignore several issues get one "do you still want this?" email, then stop receiving issues.
Bring your list
Imports exports from beehiiv, Substack, Mailchimp, Kit, MailerLite, Buttondown, Ghost and EmailOctopus as they are.
Open source
Built on MailCheap (AGPL-3.0). The source for this service is public.
Sending policy
mailto:bot sends only to people who asked for the email. These rules are built into the software, not left to each sender.
Opt-in only
Confirmed opt-in is on by default: a new subscriber confirms by email before they receive anything. Bought or scraped lists are not allowed.
One-click unsubscribe
Every email carries one-click unsubscribe headers (RFC 8058) and an unsubscribe link in the footer.
Bounces and complaints
Bounced and complained addresses are suppressed automatically. A send pauses above 2% hard bounces or 0.08% complaints, and an account is blocked above 5% bounces, 0.3% complaints or a spam-trap hit.
Clean lists
Imports skip invalid, misspelled, role, disposable and duplicate addresses, plus anyone who previously unsubscribed, bounced or complained. New sending domains warm up gradually.
Authenticated mail
Every sending domain is authenticated with DKIM, a custom return path and DMARC, and every email includes the sender's postal address.
